Part of my biggest success as a content marketer has been the implementation of long-form pillar pages for clients. These were the primary service pages that clients offered; in ophthalmology they were usually a LASIK, Cataract, or Dry Eye page.

Reworking these pages would help indicate that these pages, and those specific services were the most important to the practice in question. This would also, in turn, also help show that any blog posts (from a monthly blog retainer) were important to Google and helped increase likelihood of ranking.
